Long-term data platform partnerships. Nonprofit data work is not a one-time project. Infrastructure needs to evolve as programs grow, grants renew, and staff turn over. Our relationship with NLx (National Labor Exchange) has run for over 5 years — we built and maintain their data warehouse, API interfaces, and distribution infrastructure for labor market data that serves stakeholders nationwide. That work supported a major three-year foundation grant.
Cost-effective, modern infrastructure. Every dollar on infrastructure is a dollar not on mission. We select tools that minimize total cost of ownership without sacrificing capability. At NLx, we reduced TCO for a public data dashboard to under $25K per year while serving terabytes with near-instant latency. At a community development nonprofit, we automated impact reporting that previously required days of manual assembly.
Secure research data pipelines. Research organizations handle sensitive data — survey responses, PII, encrypted fields — that requires architectural separation between analytical and identifiable layers. At a global research nonprofit, we built data extraction across 5 production survey platform instances with encrypted data handling and PII separation baked into the design.
Custom platforms for mission-critical work. For a nonprofit providing remote counseling services, we built a custom video platform that expanded service reach to previously unreachable populations and helped secure new grant funding.
